In order to accommodate participants from different time zones as much as possible, the conference will run from 1pm to 7pm (BST). We appreciate that even with these adjustments it will not be possible for all participants from all times zones to attend every session. We therefore will run the conference in a lightly different format. Instead of presenting papers live, pre-recorded videos or posters will be uploaded to an online platform and will make available for participants to view at their leisure in advance of the conference.
Presentation
Video Format
Speakers will pre-record their papers. Videos have a strict maximum duration of 20 minutes. They may also submit a transcript of their papers if they wish
Conference Day Arrangements
Each paper presentation will instead consist of a five-minute summary given by each speaker followed by 10 minutes of questions. 3-4 papers will be discussed together followed by a fifteen-minute coffee break
Deadlines
The video should be submitted on or before 16th May
Poster Presentations
Video/Poster Format
Presenters will send your poster in advance. The poster can be in the forms of:
1) A five-minute video
2) A PDF of a 'digital' poster, consisting of up to five powerpoint slides
Conference Day Arrangements
Presenters should prepare a three-minute 'pitch' that summarises their poster. They will then be placed in individual virtual rooms, which other conference attendees will have the freedom to roam between for further Q&A
Deadlines
The video or poster should be submitted on or before 16th May
